Jeff grew up and started
his career in
Southern California. In 1984, he began doing
construction
management and interior design projects with his long-time friend and
business partner, Jan Michaels. Later they relocated their
successful business to Hawaii, and established Kerr Michaels Design and
Construction Management in Honolulu in 1991. KMD is now a
thriving business specializing in the development of high end, single
family and multi-family residences in the Gold Coast and Diamond Head
areas of Honolulu and other premium residential areas of
Oahu. As
President of KMD, Jeff’s responsibilities include finance,
budget
preparation, disbursements, project planning, design and overall
coordination.
The continual interaction of Jeff’s real estate practice with
Kerr Michaels Design creates a unique opportunity for him to interact
with clients in evaluating the quality, condition and potential of many
properties. Over the years, many of KMD’s clients
have
asked Jeff to represent them in selling their residential properties
and in identifying new properties for them to consider, for investment
